From early-morning games overseas, to prime-time spots, to a divisional showdown on Christmas Day, the Minnesota Vikings will be featured prominently by the NFL in 2025.

Eight years laters, the two teams are headed back to London, with the Browns hosting the Vikings Oct. 5 at 9:30 am. ET at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium — the only purpose-built NFL stadium outside of the U.S.

The NFL will announce the entire 2025 NFL season schedule on Wednesday, May 14, at 7 p.m. ET.

Quarterback J.J. McCarthy and the Minnesota Vikings will play games in Dublin and London this upcoming season.

Last season, the Vikings finished the year with a sparkling 14-3 record but ended up getting trounced 27-9 in the Wild Card round of the playoffs against the resurgent Rams. Over the offseason, starting quarterback Sam Darnold bolted for the Seahawks; University of Michigan hero McCarthy fills his big shoes this year.

The Minnesota Vikings will play back-to-back international games early in the season, which could be a big advantage for them.

Per a pair of schedule leaks from insiders Jordan Schultz (FOX Sports) and Ben Goessling (Star Tribune), the Vikings will play the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in their annual Thanksgiving Day game, and will later host Detroit at U.S. Bank Stadium during the NFL’s slate of games on Christmas Day.
