The Cincinnati Reds acquired outfielder/first baseman Connor Joe from the San Diego Padres on Friday in exchange for minor league right-hander Andrew Moore and cash. The 32-year-old Joe was hitless in nine at-bats over seven games for the Padres this season while spending most of the year with Triple-A El Paso.

Connor Joe saw his brief stint with his hometown franchise end on Friday, as the San Diego Padres traded the outfielder/first baseman to the Cincinnati Reds. The Padres received minor league right-hander Andrew Moore and cash in the deal.

After putting three players on the injured list this week, the Cincinnati Reds traded for veteran infielder/outfielder Connor Joe from the San Diego Padres in exchange for a minor-league pitcher and cash considerations. To make room for Joe on the 40-man roster, the Reds moved infielder/outfielder Tyler Callihan to the 60-day IL.
