Pipers from across British Columbia have gathered in the Netherlands for a tour marking the 80th anniversary of the country's liberation and VE Day.

The disruptions plaguing Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey began a week ago, when air traffic controllers temporarily lost communications with planes in the sky.

The campaign, dubbed 'Surrey Students Deserve Better,' urges parents to contact their MLAs to press for more funding and support for students with special needs.
