U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is meeting with the major airlines on Wednesday in a renewed effort to address the ongoing issues at Newark Liberty International Airport. There will not be a decision made at the end of the two-day meeting -- that will likely come at the end of the month.

Newark has been facing disruptions for around two weeks amid a national air traffic controller shortage, leading to delays of up to five hours for some flights. As a result, some students flying home for the summer have changed their flights.
