Nvidia (NVDA) stock jumped over 2.5% early Wednesday, extending its gain from the prior day, when shares rose nearly 6% and the AI chipmaker’s market cap surpassed $3 trillion for the first time since February.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq are also pointing higher before the market opens. Treasury yields and Bitcoin are rising.
Shares of Arm Holdings ( ARM 5.55%) are moving higher today for two primary reasons. First, there was an upward trend in semiconductor stocks as several companies announced AI deals in the Middle East, assuaging concerns that "AI diffusion" rules won't be as strict as some had feared.
Nvidia's stock targets $150 as Saudi Arabia partners with Nvidia, AMD, and Amazon to build a global AI hub. Analysts see this as a key growth catalyst for NVDA.
