The Department of Government Efficiency driving force is no longer physically working from the executive branch, The Post has learned.

Elon Musk has departed from the White House as he prepares to end his tenure as the department’s leader, according to reporting from the New York Post.

The White House said that Musk “hasn’t been here physically” lately, but that he is advising the Department of Government Efficiency over the phone.
